PLAIN-LANGUAGE REMINDER POLICY

USEFUL REMINDERS.
MINIMUM DATA.
EASY EXIT.

The Let's Go Vote This Time reminder list exists for one purpose: send a small number of nonpartisan reminders that help people verify official election information and make a practical voting plan before November 3, 2026.

WHAT WE STORE

  • Your email address.
  • The date and version of the consent you gave.
  • Basic referral attribution such as a partner label or standard UTM source, medium, and campaign.
  • Whether you are active or unsubscribed and how many reminder messages have been sent.

WHAT WE DO NOT ASK FOR

  • Party affiliation or candidate preference.
  • Political ideology or intended vote.
  • Voter-file records.
  • Your polling-place address through the reminder form.
  • Your transportation route through the reminder form.

MESSAGE LIMIT

The reminder system is capped at four email messages per subscriber for the 2026 election cycle. The system records the count so it cannot intentionally continue sending beyond that cap.

Messages focus on registration/status checks, official voting-location re-checks, voting logistics, and transportation planning.

UNSUBSCRIBE

Every reminder email is intended to include a one-click unsubscribe link tied to a random unsubscribe token. Using that link marks the address unsubscribed so no further reminder emails should be sent.

Independent civic utility. Let's Go Vote This Time does not claim endorsement by Vote.gov, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, Vote.org, Election Protection, National Voter Registration Day, Democracy Works, or a transportation company unless a real agreement exists.

Policy version: 2026-09-08-v1. The reminder list is separate from the site's local browser checklist. Checklist status is stored in your browser; it is not submitted with the reminder form.
